Pink is taking her recent health setback in stride.

The “Get the Party Started” singer shared a few of the coping mechanisms she employed as she dealt with an unexpected illness during a summer getaway.

“When you go on vacation and have food and E. coli decides to move into your gut you kill it with friends and daughters and red wine,” the 45-year-old wrote in a message shared to her Instagram Aug. 30. “And a vitamin IV concoction.”

The Grammy winner—who shares daughter Willow Sage Hart, 14, and son Jameson Moon Hart, 8, with husband Carey Hart—added, “This is all normal and everything is going really well.”

Escherichia coli (E. coli) is described as a group of bacteria that can infect the gut, urinary tract and other areas of the body, according to the Cleveland Clinic. While it can often live in the gut without issue, it can occasionally lead to diarrhea, vomiting, stomach cramps and fever.
