Jason Kelce Reacts to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Engagement on New Heights Podcast

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement announcement hit you like a bang.

Shortly after the couple announced the next phase of their love story on Instagram Aug. 26, eagle-eyed fans made note of one specific detail in the caption of the post.

In addition to pairing the flower-filled engagement pics with Taylor’s “So High School” song—inspired by their romance—the pair wrote on the joint post, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married” with a prominent dynamite emoji.

Given the “Lavender Haze” singer’s propensity for infusing hidden meaning into her announcements, many fans speculated on the inclusion of the explosive.

Indeed, one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter) Aug. 26, “TNT = dynamite, TNT also = taylor n travis.”

Another posted, “THE DYNAMITE EMOJI BC THEYRE TNT.”

And fans may be on to something, as the engagement caption wasn’t the first time Taylor has shown off her love of TNT. While attending a January 2024 NFL game between Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens, Taylor sported a diamond encrusted bracelet which included the letters “TNT” as she hugged her guy on the Chiefs on the field.
