Brittany Cartwright is finding a new peak after the valley of her divorce.
The Vanderpump Rules alum is dating someone new one year after filing for divorce from Jax Taylor, with whom she shares 4-year-old son Cruz.
“She has someone in her life that’s really amazing that I am head over heels for,” Brittany’s The Valley costar Kristen Doute confirmed to People Aug. 21. “She’s dated people during her single years since her ex-husband, and I have not approved of them. They’ve been fine, but not wonderful. This person is very wonderful and very cool. Very family-feeling.”
The 42-year-old also shared that Brittany’s new man is also a parent, which provides their relationship with even more welcome commonality.
“He’s a dad, so it makes it really easy,” Kristen explained, “a lot easier and understandable.”
While she didn’t go so far as to reveal the identity of Brittany’s new flame, when Kristen was asked if the couple is serious about one another, she teased, “We’ll see.”
