“With attachment-style parenting, I hold him for his naps the whole time,” she explained. “He’s 23 pounds.”
“I’ll sit in our little chair in the room,” she continued. “I still have my little breastfeeding pillow and then he’ll lay on there, but my arm’s under, and then I have a little radiation blanket that I put over to protect from EMF from phone use.”
As for why she prefers such a nurturing parenting style? Well, she said she hopes to nurture his “secure attachment.”
“I think it’s really not separating for as much as possible in the first definitely three years,” she told her sister. “It’s kind of just what my instincts—I lean towards. It’s what they tell me to do, I feel like. Just my motherly instincts. Mother knows best.”
