One former WAG is tackling some smack talk.
Hours after Los Angeles Chargers offensive lineman Rashawn Slater signed a new contract with the NFL team reportedly worth $144 million, according to multiple outlets, football influencer Dov Kleiman called the timing of the player’s recent breakup from his wife Stassney Brown “legendary.”
“Chargers star tackle Rashawn Slater finalized his divorce from his wife recently,” Kleiman wrote in a July 27 post to X (formerly Twitter). “Today, Slater signed a $144 MILLION contract extension with the team, including a $29 million signing bonus. Talk about good timing.”
In a follow up post, he wrote, “A historic deal where his ex-wife won’t see a dime of it.”
In response, Brown—who tied the knot with the lineman in 2022, and confirmed she was single on New Year’s Day—slammed Kleiman’s “deplorable” comments.
“I hold nothing but support for Rashawn,” Brown wrote back. “His contract is not about me. I think we should focus on what’s most important here, and that is his career and his success.”
