For Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey, their kids are their everything.
And that’s why it’s so hard seeing their three children—Camden, 12, Brooklyn, 10, and Phoenix, 8—grow up. In fact, the couple recently got emotional after realizing Camden will hit an important birthday this year.
“Our oldest is going to be a teenager this year,” Nick shared on Entertainment Tonight, a sentiment that made Vanessa emotional, as she exclaimed “oh no” before beginning to tear up.
“They’re growing,” Vanessa shared through tears. “We love our children, and we love watching them grow.”
And Camden isn’t the only one growing up fast.
“I’m doing laundry and I’m folding Phoenix’s little Superman Underoos and I’m thinking, ‘He won’t be in these for long,’” the Love Is Blind host noted. “And I’m talking to Brooklyn about the birds and the bees, and she’s like, ‘I don’t want to grow up.’”
But for Vanessa, watching their youngest child grow up might be the most difficult of all.
