Born in Spain to British parents and raised partially in their native United Kingdom as well as the United States, Millie was about 9 when she made her onscreen acting debut as young Alice in the Disney-inspired spinoff series Once Upon a Time in Wonderland and, coincidentally, 11 years old when she began playing her breakout role of Eleven on Stranger Things.
“I never wanted to be famous,” she said. “That was never my thing. I just love acting.”
