Justin Bieber is gonna tell you one time—he was hacked.
After the “Baby” singer unfollowed wife Hailey Bieber—with whom he shares 5-month-old son Jack Blues—and subsequently stirred drama online for the pointed social media activity, he explained himself.
“Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife,” Justin wrote in a since-deleted Jan. 21 Instagram Story. “S–t is getting suss out here.”
E! News reached out to reps for Hailey regarding Justin’s social media activity but have not heard back.
And while the 30-year-old quickly refollowed the Rhode Beauty founder, many of his fans figured the eyebrow-raising move wasn’t intentional.
“This was 100% an accident,” one fan wrote on X before Justin issued his statement, “Justin bieber just posted a sweet message to his wife and Hailey Bieber liked his picture yesterday.”
Indeed, the “Yummy” artist—who’s been spending time with Hailey in Aspen, Colorado—recently sang his wife’s praises in a Jan. 18 Instagram Story, writing, “The greatest woman I have and will ever know.”
