Courtney Ford and Brandon Routh are exiting the Waverider solo.

The DC’s Legends of Tomorrow costars shared they have broken up in a joint post on Instagram one day after Courtney filed for divorce, per documents obtained by People.

“To everyone who has loved and supported us, we have some personal news to share,” their Jan. 9 message began. “After 21 years together and 17 years of marriage, we have decided to begin a new journey, and enter this next chapter of life as friends and co-parents. We are now and forever rooting for each other as we move through this wild adventure called life.”

Courtney and Brandon emphasized that their son Leo, 12, is and “will always be, our highest priority.”

Alongside the announcement, the True Blood actress captioned the post with an update on their safety amid the California wildfires ravaging the Los Angeles area.

“We were focused on grabbing our go-bags and evacuating yesterday,” she wrote, adding that it “feels ridiculous to post this statement with the fires still raging.”
